Rez-Mesh During Infrastructure Outages
An outage can remove a central path without removing the devices at either end. Rez-Mesh is designed to reorganize communication around the local devices that remain available.
The conventional path can fail centrally
A normal message may depend on a tower, carrier network, internet path and remote service even when sender and recipient are physically close.
Local communication changes the dependency
Rez-Mesh allows participating devices to communicate locally rather than requiring every interaction to traverse distant infrastructure.
Outage and congestion are different problems with a similar effect
A network can be physically damaged, unavailable, blocked or simply overloaded. In each case, the user experiences the same practical problem: the normal path cannot be relied upon.
Continuity instead of spectacle
The product story is intentionally calm. The important visual is not infrastructure failing dramatically; it is communication continuing after the failure.
Rez-Mesh Beta is coming soon.
