Rez-Mesh for Disaster Response
Disasters can fragment communications at the exact moment local coordination becomes most important. Rez-Mesh is designed around the devices that remain in the affected area.
Earthquake
A damaged cellular path does not remove the people, phones, shelters and local medical points in a neighborhood. Participating devices can form local paths that allow status information to move toward reachable coordination points.
Flood
Flooded roads can split communities and make infrastructure unreliable. Local communication paths can follow the people and devices that remain reachable along the edges of the affected area.
Wildfire
In rural or trail environments, coverage may already be inconsistent before a wildfire or evacuation. Urgent local warnings can move through participating devices that are still reachable.
A complement to official response systems
Rez-Mesh should be understood as an additional resilient local communication option. It is not a replacement for emergency services, public warning systems or professional radio networks.
